3 Days 7 Churches of Revelations Tour from Izmir Itinerary
Day 1: Smyrna and Pergamum
Your trip begins with a morning pick-up from Izmir Airport, Izmir City, Selcuk or Kusadasi. First, we’ll visit the Church of Izmir (Smyrna) to learn about its history and importance among the Seven Churches of Revelation. After that, we’ll head to Pergamum, an ancient city with many historical sites to see. In the evening, we’ll arrive in Bergama City, where you’ll stay overnight.
Day 2: Thyateira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Pamukkale
After breakfast, we’ll leave Bergama and visit Thyateira, one of the Seven Churches. Next, we’ll stop in Sardis to explore its ancient ruins. We’ll continue to Philadelphia, another important church site. Our final stop for the day is Pamukkale, known for its beautiful white terraces and the ancient city of Hierapolis. Here, you can explore the ruins and enjoy the thermal springs. We’ll spend the night in Pamukkale.
Day 3: Laodicea and Ephesus
We’ll start the day with a visit to Laodicea, an ancient city known for its wealth and as one of the Seven Churches. After exploring Laodicea, we’ll drive to Selcuk for lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll visit Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities. Walk through the Marble Street, see the Grand Theatre, and visit the Library of Celsus. We’ll also visit the Basilica of St. John, where John the Apostle is believed to be buried. In the evening, we’ll drop you off at İzmir Airport, ending our tour of the Seven Churches of Revelation.
