Day 1: Izmir (Smyrna) – Pergamon
Embark on your journey through the Seven Churches of Revelation, starting in Izmir, formerly known as Smyrna. Begin by visiting the Church of Saint Polycarp, a tribute to the faithful disciple Polycarp who was martyred. Explore the ancient city of Smyrna, including the remarkable Agora. Depart for Bergama to witness the remarkable remnants of the ancient city of Pergamon, where “the satan’s throne” was said to be situated. Overnight in Izmir.

Day 2: Thyatira – Sardis – Philadelphia
After breakfast, set off to discover the ruins of the ancient church in Thyatira, a city founded by the Lydians and plagued by the false prophet “Jezebel.” Continue to the magnificent city of Sardis, the prosperous capital of the Lydian Empire where the first coins were minted. On your way to Pamukkale, visit the ruins of the ancient church in Philadelphia, a congregation praised by St. John. Overnight in Pamukkale.

Day 3: Hierapolis – Pamukkale – Laodicea
In the morning, explore the ancient city of Hierapolis, known as the home of Philip the Evangelist. Visit Philip’s tomb and the octagon church. Take a break at the stunning calcium terraces of Pamukkale and marvel at the natural beauty around you. Continue to Laodicea, the city of compromise, where St. John referred to the congregation as “lukewarm.” Overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 4: Ephesus – The House of Virgin Mary – Basilica of John – Temple of Artemis
Journey to Ephesus, one of the most well-preserved ancient cities in Turkey, where St. John admonished the church for forsaking their first love. Walk through history along the marble streets, admiring iconic structures such as the Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian, the Odeon, and the grand Theatre where St. Paul faced opposition. Continue to the House of Virgin Mary, the place she spent her final days. Visit the Basilica of John, believed to be his resting place. Conclude the tour with a visit to the Temple of Artemis, once counted among the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. Transfer to Izmir Airport.
