Aphrodisias, named after the Greek goddess Aphrodite, was famous for its marble sculptures and had a prominent sculpture school. Today, it remains one of the best-preserved ancient cities in Turkey, showcasing beautifully crafted sculptures in Aphrodisias and its museum.
