There are many important historical remains in and around Ephesus such as Celsus Library, Grand Theater, Odeon, Nike Relief, Artemis Temple which is one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world, Basilica of St. John and Virgin Mary’s House.
Ephesus has an important place in early Christianity and mentioned in the Book of Revelations as one of the Seven Churches of Asia.Also the Basilica of St. John and Virgin Mary’s House is located nearby and make the city as one of the important centers for Christian Pilgrimage.

Ephesus Tour Program
- We will pick-up from your hotel in Pamukkale or Karahayit in the early morning, at 06:15 am for Karahayit and 06:30 am for Pamukkale. We’ll then transfer you to Selcuk for your Ephesus Tour from Pamukkale.
- Once we arrive to Selcuk, we’ll drive to the Ephesus Ancient City. We’ll visit are the famous Celsus Library, the Temple Of Hadrian, the Trajan Fountain, Terrace Houses, Nike Relief, Hadrians Gate and more.
- Afterward, we’ll visit the House of Mother Mary, where it is believed that she spent the last years of her life.
- Our final stop is the Temple of Artemis (Diana), one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
- At the end of the tour, we’ll transfer you back to your hotel in Pamukkale or Karahayit.
Useful Information
This is a tour that takes about one mile through an irregular and cobbled surface that comes along with several slopes and stairs at least 10-30 steps. We advise that users wear comfortable shoes and hats in order to fully enjoy this experience. The order of tour itinerary might slightly change to avoid crowds.
